Me and 7-year old continued the journey with Timmy and again had fun。 This time the book was from the library, but the 7-year old would want to have this also for his own。 Thanks to Timmy (and the treehouse-series), he's even wishing for funny books for his birthday, which I consider as an achievement。 I'm not always sure which jokes the 7-year old gets and what he doesn't, but he still amazes me by remembering some details that I already forgot。 Read in Finnish and therefore I'm not sure which Me and 7-year old continued the journey with Timmy and again had fun。 This time the book was from the library, but the 7-year old would want to have this also for his own。 Thanks to Timmy (and the treehouse-series), he's even wishing for funny books for his birthday, which I consider as an achievement。 I'm not always sure which jokes the 7-year old gets and what he doesn't, but he still amazes me by remembering some details that I already forgot。 Read in Finnish and therefore I'm not sure which bits we might have lost, but as we were still laughing, I guess the translation was fine。 。。。more

Timmy Failure and his sidekick polar bear Total return in their second case to solve the theft of the school's globe。 But as usual Timmy sees past all the mendacity, and roots out the shenanigans involved as only he can。 Slowed down by a broken leg , but not stopped, the clueless boy detective does things his way, because Timmy Failure is nobody's fool。 Timmy Failure and his sidekick polar bear Total return in their second case to solve the theft of the school's globe。 But as usual Timmy sees past all the mendacity, and roots out the shenanigans involved as only he can。 Slowed down by a broken leg , but not stopped, the clueless boy detective does things his way, because Timmy Failure is nobody's fool。 。。。more

We loved it every bit as much as the first one!

The first book is better by a mile, as almost all Tv/ book series do, but I rate this a 4 star because this book is still in the same series。 I liked this book because it started with a whole new set of problems which are very interesting, because everything around Timmy seems to be very unrealistic。 The drawings and good use of different fonts also made the book very fun to me。

I thought that this book was really fun and adventurous to read because ever since the beginning of the first book, I didn't really like Timmy at first because he was arrogant and rude, but even though he still is now, I've grown to like him because he can say anything sarcastic and make it funny at the same time。 I thought that this book was really fun and adventurous to read because ever since the beginning of the first book, I didn't really like Timmy at first because he was arrogant and rude, but even though he still is now, I've grown to like him because he can say anything sarcastic and make it funny at the same time。 。。。more

Timmy Failure inspired my kid to start a detective agency, to read a lot of books, and to learn definitions to words like mendacity。 What's not to like about a character who promotes entrepreneurship, being a bibliophile, and having a strong vocabulary? My kiddo and I read this aloud together over the span of many meals。 We both need to get Boom Boom Shoewheels now because。。。why not? My 9-1/2 yr old gives this book 5/5。I thought it was creative and good, funny, but I wouldn’t have given it 5/5。

James

It was a cool book just a little bit like the first。

People fall down a lot in this series。

Timmy Failure's adventures are bigger and more complicated in this sequel to, "Mistake Were Made。" Timmy and his mother have left their apartment and are now sharing a home with his eccentric aunt while his mom looks for work。 When a detective contest is announced at Timmy's school, things finally start to look up。However, that is before a series of catastrophic events prevent Timmy from turning in his entry form on time。 In true Timmy fashion, he rearranges his world to solve the mystery and un Timmy Failure's adventures are bigger and more complicated in this sequel to, "Mistake Were Made。" Timmy and his mother have left their apartment and are now sharing a home with his eccentric aunt while his mom looks for work。 When a detective contest is announced at Timmy's school, things finally start to look up。However, that is before a series of catastrophic events prevent Timmy from turning in his entry form on time。 In true Timmy fashion, he rearranges his world to solve the mystery and uncover the conspiracy of the WEDGIE。Even more fun than book one! 。。。more

I’m quoting Irena BookDustMagic and saying that this book series is a “special happy place packed in a book。”

Oh, Timmy Failure。 Ridiculous and funny at times, but this book really outlines that Timmy just really isn't a nice person。 He's terrible to basically everyone, even his friend Rollo。 Who for some reason is friends with him。 The book has its moments, but it relies on a lot of the same style jokes as the first one。 They don't land as well。 There're expected。 You come to see how Timmy really is。 I guess for this series, it's better to not look that deep。 Take this at face value about a story of a Oh, Timmy Failure。 Ridiculous and funny at times, but this book really outlines that Timmy just really isn't a nice person。 He's terrible to basically everyone, even his friend Rollo。 Who for some reason is friends with him。 The book has its moments, but it relies on a lot of the same style jokes as the first one。 They don't land as well。 There're expected。 You come to see how Timmy really is。 I guess for this series, it's better to not look that deep。 Take this at face value about a story of a funny little boy in a made up world。The ending was cute, which makes up for some of it。 Maybe Timmy grows as a person as the series moves on? Would be nice, but I wouldn't count on it。 。。。more

Just as good as the first one if not better。 This book was all around a great success on the authors part。 I think this was a great book and would definitely recommend it。

Danielle Wood

This sequel was cute, but I didn’t like it nearly as much as the first one。 Timmy is still hilarious and I loved his aunt, too!

Allie

Timmy is a moron。 I can’t believe this kid gets through life。 When’s the next book?

Victor The Reader

Not really as clever as the first book and Timmy is really becoming more annoying than I thought, but the doodles and his misadventures are still pretty funny。 B (75%/Good)

Graham Bates

Another hilarious adventure by Stephan Pastis。 Great for kids off all ages。

Mishka

it was a silly book but i think it was a bit boring
